The 11th annual Party in the Park to celebrate Celia's Rainbow Gardens will
be held on March 18 starting at 1 p.m. in the Town Park pavilion in Quartzsite.
The party will again feature a free barbecue lunch of burgers, hot dogs, salads,
beans, cake and lemonade. There will also be a raffle to help with the expenses
for the party and donations will also be taken.
The entertainment will include two great bands again this year, with Jerry
Mullins and Friends and the Stillwaters Band. These wonderful musicians have
been providing some of the best in country music for this event for many years
and are always a big hit with the crowds. Last year more than 500 people came
out to enjoy the lunch and music.
Tours of the Gardens will also be available to anyone who wishes to see what has
been done over the past year - several new things have been added. Be sure to
wear a hat and good walking shoes if you wish to take a tour, and bring a chair
to enjoy the festivities.
