QUARTZSITE TIMES
December 27th, 2005
During the holiday season, it is especially important to count your blessings and give thanks to those who have made a difference in your life.
It is a very hard time for anyone who has lost someone they loved to be happy during these times, but with friends and family it becomes at least bearable.
When we first started Celia’s Rainbow Gardens 10 years ago, it was a form of grief therapy for us.
It kept our minds and bodies tired enough that the sadness we felt at the loss of our only child, a little easier to cope with.We have met many wonderful caring people in the time that we have worked on the Gardens.
Some have landscaped areas in memory of their own loved ones and some have just volunteered whatever time they have to help with all the work that has been done to make this a special place for everyone who visits it.
Celia’s Rainbow Gardens has become a place where many hearts and hands have made a big difference. The work that has been done so far is the result of people who consider it a labor of love. The volunteers who have unselfishly given their time and efforts have helped create a unique place for anyone to visit and see what can be done when a community works together.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their hard work and support and let them know that they are appreciated more than they realize.
We wish everyone a very merry Christmas season, and look forward to working with them again in the new year.
